Tesla shares hit a record high on Friday, taking the company one step closer to reaching a market valuation of 1 trillion U.S. dollars.
The stock closed at an all-time high of 9-hundred-9 dollars 68 cents on Friday, after reaching a session high of 9-hundred-10.
The bumper figure comes two days after the electric vehicle maker posted record revenue and profits in the third quarter, beating the market expectation.
It also marks the first time since January that the company's stock surged above 900 dollars.
Tesla's market cap came to around 8-hundred-60 billion dollars at market close.
