U.S. FDA authorizes "mix and match" for booster shots
Updated: 2021-10-21 11:11:28 KST
The FDA has also authorized booster shots those who've received the Moderna or J&J vaccine.
They're also allowing a "mix and match" approach, where people can get a booster jab that's different from the one they originally had.
This expands the U.S.' booster campaign to include tens of millions more people and gives more flexibility to health services.
As of now, booster shots are limited to those 65 and over.
However anyone 18 or over and vaccinated with the J&J shot can get a booster after two months.
