Good afternoon. It's a chilly but quite pleasant start to the day here in the capital, under patches of blue skies. There will be a rise in the afternoon temperatures so we'll be seeing wide gaps of more than 10 degrees Celsius in the readings.
It was pretty chilly in the southern provinces yesterday, with highs hovering below 20 degrees Celsius but highs will go up 4 to 7 degrees Celsius higher today, going into the mid-twenties, a couple of degrees higher than seasonal norms. It's easy to come down with a cold during the wide temperatures fluctuations, so take good care of yourself.
There will be lots of cloud coverage in southern parts of the country while central regions will be seeing on-and-off sunshine. Gwangju going up to 26 degrees, Busan at 25 degrees.
Nationwide rain on Saturday will bring somewhat winter-like temperatures on Sunday morning with a low of 2 degrees Celsius in the capital, and it will stay in the single digits through next week.
