Son Heung-min scores late winner in S. Korea's 2-1 win over Syria in WC qualifying

Son Heung-min came to the rescue for South Korea on Thursday evening, scoring a late goal to help the Taegeuk Warriors beat Syria 2-1 in World Cup qualifying.
Playing in Ansan, south of Seoul, Son's eighty-ninth minute goal handed South Korea their second straight win, following last month's one-nil win over Lebanon.
South Korea now sit atop Group A with seven points.
The team's next game is against Iran in Tehran on Tuesday.
