Unseasonable heat holds for south... showers for coastal areas tomorrow
Updated: 2021-10-07 17:06:37 KST
Rain has tapered off for inland areas, but on-and-off showers will be falling over coastal areas tomorrow. There won't be too much rain. Coastal areas of Gyeongsangnam-do Province and the west coast will see less than 5 millimeters. Eastern Gangwon-do Province and the rest of the coast can expect 5 to 30 millimeters.

Meanwhile, unseasonable heat across the south is holding up longer than expected. Today, the maximum temperatures were about 3 to 4 degrees higher than usual for this time of year, and this will be similar for tomorrow. This is because a warm high pressure system is meandering through the south, pushing up the temperatures. However, central regions are under the influence of a low pressure system, which is keeping things cloudy and even rainy at times.

Morning tomorrow in Seoul and Chuncheon will start off at 17 degrees Celsius.

Daytime highs will be about 1 to 3 degrees higher than today. Seoul will get up to 23 degrees. Gwangju and Busan 26. Daejeon and Gyeongju 24 degrees.

Murky skies will hold for the remainder of this week. On Sunday, another round of nationwide showers is in the forecast.

That's all for now, and here are the weather conditions around the world.
