Updated: 2021-09-21 12:37:33 KST
The nation's daily COVID-19 tally stands at 17-hundred-29.
More than 16-thousand are local infections.
The total caseload now reaches above 289-thousand.
While this is the third straight day of the daily figures staying under 2-thousand, there are concerns over the fact that Tuesday's figures come despite fewer tests over the weekend.
While some measures have been eased to enable more family gatherings, various restrictions are in place to prevent the spread of the virus.
There were 4 more Coronavirus-related deaths, raising the total to 24-hundred-13.
Meanwhile, 71 percent of the country's population have received their first shots of COVID-19 vaccines.
More than 43 percent have been fully vaccinated.
The KDCA announced that reservations close as of 6pm local time, September 30th.
All citizens are advised to book their shots, as reservations are open for all age groups above 18.
