S. Korea marks 3rd anniversary of Pyeongyang Joint Declaration

To mark the third anniversary of the Pyeongyang joint declaration, South Korea's unification ministry held an event earlier to discuss how it has improved inter-Korean relations.
The unification minister said through the joint declaration, the two Koreas agreed to take inter-Korean relations to a "higher level".
He added it has also been 30 years since the two Koreas joined the UN, and said he hopes they can cooperate on global issues including the pandemic and climate change.
The declaration was signed on September 19th, 2018 and stipulates a wide range of inter-Korean matters from lowering military tensions to fostering economic cooperation and resolving humanitarian issues.
