VJ S. Korea becomes second country to grow produce in Antarctica

South Korea has succeeded in harvesting fruits and vegetables
at an indoor farm at King Sejong Station in Antarctica

This includes red peppers, tomatoes and even watermelons

South Korea is now the second country behind the U.S.
to cultivate both fruits and vegetables in Antarctica

The South Korean team can now enjoy a taste of home
as well as stable supply of produce during the COVID-19 pandemic
