Central regions are mostly under clear skies with warm temperatures, but weather conditions down on Jeju Island are totally different. This is due to the indirect influence of Typhoon Chanthu. The 14th typhoon of the season has slowed down, and currently remains at the same location as last night, near the coast of Shanghai, China. Chanthu will linger around that area until Thursday. By Friday, the typhoon will pack some power, and will pass through Jeju Island and reach the South Coast.
A heavy rain warning is in place for Jeju Island, where up to 300 millimeters are in the forecast. Coastal areas of Jeollanam-do Province can expect 120 millimeters. Inland regions of the South can expect 10 to 40 millimeters. Along with rain, gusty winds will follow in these areas.
As for the readings tomorrow, Seoul and Daegu will start off at 19 degrees Celsius.
Southern parts of the country will see a mix of clouds and rain for the daytime. Seoul and Gwangju will get up to 28 degrees. Jeju and Chuncheon 27 degrees.
On Friday, the typhoon will get closer to our Peninsula, spreading showers nationwide.
That's all for now, and here are the weather conditions around the world.
