South Korea's jailed former President Park Geun-hye, has tested negative for COVID-19 after having come in contact with an infected person.
The Justice Ministry said today that she came in contact with a prison officer who later tested positive for Covid while traveling to a hospital outside of the Seoul Detention Center on Monday.
Park is now quarantined at Seoul's St. Mary's Hospital where she will remain for some period of time despite the negative test because, at 68 years old, she's in the high-risk group.
