With less than four days left until the U.S. presidential election, early voting turnout has soared to historic levels throughout the country on Friday surpassing 86 million.
The U.S. Elections Project said the total turnout in Texas has reached some nine-million which accounts for about 53-percent of statewide registered voters.
That's more than the total number of ballots cast during the entire 2016 election in that state.
Milestones in early voting turnout are also being witnessed in other states, including the key battlegrounds of Georgia, North Carolina, Florida and Arizona.
