The World Health Organization says the world is continuing to grapple with COVID-19, while pointing out that two countries the U.S. and Brazil accounted for roughly half of Sunday's new daily cases.
Explaining during a press briefing on Monday that over 230-thousand cases were reported on Sunday, the WHO chief said many countries are headed in the wrong direction.
The agency also explained that its team of experts has arrived in China to look into the origins of the virus.
The team is currently isolated before commencing work with Chinese scientists.
