North Korea's Ambassador to China, Ji Jae-ryong , and the regime's Ambassador to the UN, Kim Song , have flown to Pyeongyang from Beijing.
Citing a source, South Korea's Yonhap News Agency and some Chinese media outlets report that the diplomats took an Air Koryo flight from Beijing International Airport on Saturday morning.
They were accompanied by around ten other North Korean diplomatic staff members.
It's thought they are set to attend a meeting of North Korea's overseas mission chiefs, during which the regime could discuss how to negotiate with the United States over its nuclear program.
Denuclearization talks between Washington and Pyeongyang have stalled since the failure of the Hanoi Summit in February last year.
