South Korea's world number one golfer Ko Jin-young has secured this year's LPGA Player of the Year Award with three tournaments remaining in the season.
The 24-year-old becomes the fourth South Korean to capture the top award, following Park In-bee in 2013 and the 2017 co-winners Park Sung-hyun and Ryu So-yeon.
Ko also becomes just the third player to win the Rookie of the Year and the Player of the Year awards in consecutive seasons.
The award caps off an outstanding season for Ko, who won four tour titles, including two majors.
