Live road talk show! [BCRUZE]!
In this episode of B CRUZE 2, we will meet Jazz Pop singer Wouter Hamel, who has amassed a Korean fan base, and visual artist Renata Padovan, who is living in Korea for an art residency program at the Seoul Art Space Geumcheon.
Hamel, born in the Netherlands, actually began his singing career after his friend suggested him to participate in a Jazz singing contest, where he won first place. After being recognized for his musical talent, he began to work on his album. His first album became a hit in Korea and he has been performing at the Seoul Jazz Festival since 2009. Since then, he has had many performances in Korea and made numerous collaborations with Korean artists. It is safe to say that Hamel certainly has a special connection with Korea! So, listen to his sweet voice during the Jazz lesson he has prepared.
Now, Renata, who was born in Brazil, graduated in social communications and has been working on her visual art projects to this day. She was granted a stipend from the Brazilian Ministry of Culture for her master's in Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art and Design in London. Renata has been a part of many cultural and artistic exchanges through diverse international workshop programs. Let's take a look into her studio and her works at the Seoul Art Space Geumcheon!
