The theme ingredient for this week's episode of [Cooking Possible] is COD! Chefs Ryan and Hong Yu-joo have come to globalize Korean cod dishes.
Chef Ryan has chosen braised cod cheeks and Chef Yu-joo spicy cod soup.
They have each learned long-kept secrets from the masters of these two dishes!
The first showdown takes place in the studio.

Following the first cook-off is the second round with the chefs' pride at stake!
They have to recreate their Korean cod dishes using only Spanish ingredients and sauces.
Chef Ryan uses paprika powder instead of chili pepper powder, Spanish ham jamon and salted herring roe to replace doenjang to reinvent the memorable flavors of braised cod cheeks.
Meanwhile, Chef Yu-joo chooses cayenne pepper instead of chili pepper powder, and celery instead of water parsley to make the Spanish version of spicy cod soup.
Studying local recipes is a given! They have even brought over Spanish ingredients from Spain! How did their dishes turn out?
