Solution to climate crisis: global solidarity

World Environment Report: Diplomat Talks on Climate Change – 19
Bulgaria is working closely with the EU to take climate action. With the support of the EU, Bulgaria initiated the Recovery and Resilience Plan in October. It is especially putting a lot of focus on the "Green Bulgaria" part of the plan to transition to green energy. On Nov. 13th, the COP26 came to an end. The participating nations engaged in heated discussions for 2 weeks about abolishing coal, which is critical to lowering the global temperature, as well as funding developing countries. While there's divided opinion about the success or lack thereof of the conference, one thing has been made vividly clear: Global solidarity is required more than ever before at a higher level. This week, we'll meet with the Ambassador of Bulgaria to Korea, Petko Draganov, to hear more about Bulgaria's climate action and the direction the global community should move towards.
