COVID-19 Pandemic
Korea is celebrating the second Chuseok holiday since COVID-19 turned out lives upside down. The spread of the virus is still very strong, so we sit down with our panel of experts to talk more about the quarantine measures during the holiday and whether we can gradually return to normalcy.
A massive movement is expected to get underway as the five-day Chuseok holiday kicks off. Temporary screening facilities have been set up at transportation hubs around Seoul City as much of the travel will be from Seoul to the rest of the country. Our reporter Jeon Sung-cho goes out on-location to learn more about the temporary screening facility.
