COVID-19 Pandemic

One of the most visible feature of the spread of Delta variant here at home and abroad is the fact that the virus is spreading fast among the younger population. While vaccinated adults in many countries were able to protect themselves from being contracting with the Delta variant, children, in particular, are being exposed to the variant, know to be even more transmissible than the original strain. With our panel of experts, we delve into how we should respond to the increasing portion of infection among children amid the rampant spread of the Delta variant.
Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, many Koreans have been experiencing a sense of depression, even giving birth to a new term called ‘Corona Blue,’ which is a combination of “coronavirus” and “blue,” meaning depression and lethargy due to self-isolation and social distancing. And amid the prolonged pandemic, we are now hearing of terms like ‘Corona Red’ as many are coping with anger caused by the pandemic as well as ‘Corona Black,’ which refers to a sense of hopelessness. Against such background, we have a very special bus here in Korea that provides support for the public’s mental health.
