Jejudo Island is one of the 7 wonders of the word with 3 UNESCO Heritage Sites. Every year, this beautiful island brings together hundreds of government officials, high-profile figures and opinion leaders from all over the world for the Jeju Forum for Peace and Prosperity. At the 14th edition of the forum, participants discussed ways to build co-prosperity in Asia and the world under the theme “Asia Towards Resilient Peace: for Cooperation and Integration.”
For the first edition of “The Chamber”’s Jeju Forum Special, we sit down with former Prime Minister of New Zealand and former administrator of the UN Development Program, Helen Clark. She shares the core elements of her session at the 2019 Jeju Foum, “Making Cities Resilient: The Role of Cooperation and Leadership,” her experience of breaking the glass ceiling, and her vision for Korea-New Zealand economic cooperation for mutual prosperity.
