Reviving Floriculture Businesses

Over the past few weeks, various events including graduation and school entrance ceremonies have been canceled to prevent further spread of COVID-19.
Floriculture farms have been hit hard as a result, with a sharp decline in sales in what is usually one of their peak seasons. To help the flower businesses get through this difficult situation, movements have sprung up all over the country.
In Seongnam, in particular, a flower farmers’ market was held with the participation of 150 floriculture farms offering their flowers at below-market prices, and in its vicinity, 500 roses are given out to customers each day, free of charge. We will take you on the scene where people have come together to help flower farmers and revive the local economy.
