Joyang Bangjik, or Joyang Textile Factory, was Korea’s first textile mill that was built in 1933 using native capital when the country was under Japanese rule. With its excellent, high-quality textile products, the factory largely led the development of Ganghwado Island at the time. Some 90 years later, this factory turned into a cafe. Let’s go back to 1987 and enjoy the blasts from the past with a cup of coffee at Joyang Bangjik.
