Back in February, Phan Thi Kim Phuc, known as the "napalm girl" after a well-known photo of her from the Vietnam war, was awarded the 2019 Dresden Peace Prize in recognition of her work with UNESCO and as an activist for peace. That photo exposed the horrors of the Vietnam War to the world and also left Kim Phuc bitter and full of hatred. Still, she found hope after tragedy. Han Mi-mi is a founding member of the Korean Women's Movement for Peace (KWMP) and the vice president of World Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA).
