Seollal at a Traditional Market
Seollal, or Lunar New Year's Day, is one of the biggest holidays in Korea. Almost everyone heads to their hometowns to visit parents and relatives to celebrate the New Year, enjoy food, and to hold memorial ceremonies for their ancestors. This year, Lunar New Year falls on February 5. Let's visit one of Korea's traditional markets ahead of Seollal and learn more about the efforts being made to prepare for the holiday.

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow
Taebaeksan Mountain is a holy mountain of the Korean people 800 above sea level where the Hangang River and the Nakdonggang River originate. Located at the southern tip of Gangwon-do Province, the mountain becomes the site for the Taebaeksan Mountain Snow Festival around this time every winter. Featuring an array of giant snow sculptures made by 10 teams of art students and all kinds of winter activities, the festival helps you make the most of winter fun. Tteokguk for the New Year
