The Reenactment of the Traditional State Examination is an annual event that provides a chance to see traditional Korean culture up close. As the name implies, it reenacts gwageo, the national civil service examination administrated during the Joseon Dynasty to discover the most qualified, best-prepared men to rule the country. Filled with diverse events for both adults and children, it celebrates our cultural legacy in a beautiful, royal setting. The Seoul Street Arts Festival is the largest street arts festival in Korea, providing high-quality street performances all over Seoul with the participation of the public. This year, the public had the chance to participate in an aerial spectacle by dangling from an extreme-looking contraption 30m above the ground for the Spanish theatrical troupe La Fura dels Baus' "Human Net."
