Development of a variety of technologies as well as economy have taken place in 2019. And hydrogen has garnered a lot of attention as a future growth engine. The government has laid out new energy roadmap for the vitalization of hydrogen economy. By escaping from oil and coal, which used to be major energy sources in the past, new infrastructure for the production, storage, delivery and usage of hydrogen has been built. And the roadmap aims to boost economic development by collaborating with automobile, shipbuilding and petrochemical industries. The automobile industry has played a significant role for the domestic economy. So hydrogen-powered vehicle has emerged as a significant element for the vitalization of hydrogen economy. This year, the government has popularized hydrogen charging stations and more than 70 hydrogen vehicles can be charged a day at the charging station. Hydrogen energy is a resource with high growth potential. And we explore hydrogen economy, which has brought about a significant paradigm shift to the fuel industry.
The robotics market has recently focused on service robot, which can enrich the lives of humans. In the past, robots used to simply carry out repetitive works or play a role as an assistant. However, it has recently implemented voice and visual information recognition technologies as well as an ability to understand different situations. And service robot has been at the center of those changes, as it can communicate with humans. Thanks to the application of AI and autonomous driving technologies, service robots have been introduced to diversified areas. Service robots have been actively applied to different fields including libraries, department stores and banks. Aside from simply providing information to users, it can recognize the movements of humans and provide guidance to the destination. Delivery robot has emerged as a latest trend in the robots market. Instead of simply delivering objects, it can replace the works of humans. Concerns have been raised over the possible decrease in jobs, but it has built a better environment that humans and robots can coexist. A lot of different technologies have been introduced to the distribution industry, as part of an effort to replace human labor. And service robots have also been applied to the distribution sector. It is to increase convenience by overcoming the existing limitations. We look into service robots, which is one of the latest trends in the global robotics market.
