Korea and Zambia are celebrating the 30th anniversary of friendship this year. Since establishing diplomatic relations on September 4, 1990, the two sides have been seeking more active exchanges than ever through the “Saemaul Undong” (New Village Movement) cooperation project. Saemaul Undong is Korea’s historic regional development initiative which is actively being implemented in Zambia. The relationship between the two countries, which share common experiences and growth strategy, continue to progress. At the center of this progress is Zambia’s Ambassador to S. Korea, Wylbur Chisiya SIMUUSA, who has great expectations for future relations between the two sides. We will meet Ambassador SIMUUSA who is spearheading the expansion of bilateral exchange and cooperation.
