Joining us on this week’s I’m LIVE is singer-songwriter Younha!
Younha began her career in 2003 in Japan with her first single, “ゆびきり.” Then she found mainstream success the following year with her second Japanese single “ほうき星 (Comet),” which was included on the soundtrack of the anime series “Bleach.” The song peaked on the Oricon Chart at #15, giving her the nickname of the “Oricon Comet.” Her success in the island country led to her debut in Korea as well; she debuted in Korea in 2016 where she is regarded as one of the country’s best singer-songwriters. From “Waiting” to “Password 486,” Younha has many hit songs under her belt. She has also collaborated with numerous A-list musicians, including Toy and Epik High.
In November last year, Younha released her sixth full-length album, “END THEORY,” to once again prove how versatile of a musician she is. From rock to ballad music, she covered various genres in the album, and the album’s lead single “Stardust” was chosen as one of Billboard’s Best K-pop Songs of the Year.
