Simone CARENA is an Italian architect and a professor of digital media and space design at the International Design School for Advanced Studies at Hongik University.
He is also the co-founder of MOTOElastico, an architectural firm originally born in Torino (Turin), Italy... with headquarters moved to Seoul, right into Jongno - the heart of the city.
MOTOElastico shared their bold, elegant aesthetic with the “Scroll,” which won first prize in becoming the Main Permanent Pavilion of Hangang Art Park in 2018... just one of many accolades the firm has received over the years.
Simone CARENA fell in love with Korea and Korean architecture... and we’ll hear his story on today’s Heart-to-Heart.
