Albrecht HUWE, whose Korean name is HEO Bae, is a German who loves Hangeul.
Since 1977, he had lectured Korean Studies at the University of Munich for 10 years. He came to Korea in 1984 and has taught the German language and culture at Hanyang University, Sungkyunkwan University, Seoul National University and now, at Duksung Women's University. He was also a professor of Korean Translation Studies from 1989 to 2015 at the University of Bonn in Germany.
