In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing, the international scientific journal, Nature selected 5 young researchers who are to shake up lunar exploration in the coming decades. A Korean planetary scientist, Dr. Sim Chae-kyung is one of those researchers.
Her main field of research is the soils on the lunar surface. As she studied lunar soils, her research paper on craters, which was the first of its kind in the world, received recognition worldwide.
She has a long way ahead to satisfy her curiosity all the more because she believes humans could potentially settle down in other planets.
Dr. Sim Chae-kyung shares her insights on the Moon and space, on today's Heart-to-Heart.
