Kim So-sun is a Korean artist who draws Minhwa, Korean traditional folk art on porcelain plates. She recently held a very successful traditional folk art porcelain exhibition at the Museum Jinburyeong located in Gangwon-do Province. One animal that is almost always seen in her works is the tiger. Her paintings of tigers and artworks were exhibited in many foreign countries including the United States, England, Japan, Norway, and Ecuador. She draws folk paintings but artist Kim So-sun did not major in Oriental Painting. She does not tie herself down to traditional techniques and fuses Minhwa with Western art to create unique and eye-catching art pieces.
