Graffiti is a form of unique art, consisting of writings or drawings made on building walls. There is a graffiti artist who garnered immense attention for his murals of Black women in Hanbok, the traditional Korean dress. It's artist Shim Chan-yang also known as Royyal Dog who creates graffiti with Korean themes. He is receiving global spotlight with his murals in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City and other cities. He recently created a mural that shows peace between the two Koreas for an exhibition held at Cheong Wa Dae, the Blue House, which is the executive office and official residence of the South Korean President. On today's Heart-to-Heart, we sit down with graffiti artist Shim Chan-yang and learn more about his creative art world.
