The U.S. has started its COVID-19 vaccination campaign with priority groups including healthcare workers and the elderly. Vaccine rollouts are announced throughout the world, following the approval of the Pfizer vaccine in different countries. The South Korean government has secured enough vaccines for 44 million people, or 88 percent of the population and expects to launch a phased rollout starting February. Meanwhile, claims of side effects caused by the Pfizer vaccine have sparked skepticism about its safety. In this week’s edition of Foreign Correspondents, we sit down with our panel of journalists to explore various issues surrounding COVID-19 vaccines, including concerns over safety and equitable distribution.
