The world is seeing another spike in COVID-19 cases as the densely populated northern hemisphere braces for a winter season. Countries in Europe have imposed new strict restrictions including overnight curfews to contain the surge in infections. Health experts in the U.S., which still has the highest death toll from COVID-19, are saying the fall surge has begun. China has confirmed new cases for the first time in 58 days after Chinese authorities claimed they had beaten the virus. In this week’s edition of Foreign Correspondents, we sit down with our panel of journalists to shed light on the latest COVID-19 developments around the world.
