China vowed to retaliate after U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order to strip Hong Kong of its preferential trade status. But Washington’s move is already dealing a blow to the city’s international status. The New York Times said it will move its digital team of journalists from Hong Kong to Seoul next year, amid concerns of a possible exodus of businesses from the city once known as Asia’s financial hub. In this week’s edition of Foreign Correspondents, we sit down with our panel of journalists to talk about how global businesses are weighing their presence in Hong Kong and where they might consider relocating if they choose to leave.
