On July 19th, what can be called a 5-year policy roadmap, the '5-year state affairs plan' was announces. The Moon Jae-in administration announced that they set up 5 national policies, 20 national strategies, and 100 point national policy agenda, after realizing the vision of a 'nation of the people and justice. The proposal for the 100 point national policy agenda was reflected on the proposals of 150,000 citizens at 'Gwanghwamun 1st Street', a natioanl communication channel between the government and the people. However, no matter how good a plan is, it's difficult to place it into effect, if there's not enough budget. President Moon cited a tax hike for the superhigh-income bracket and the top conglomerates.... as the 100 point national policy agenda is designed for a new Republic of Korea. With this, there's much interest from the people.
The first task of the 100 point national policy agenda is 'thorough and complete eradication of corruption'! One of the most important things for the Moon administration, is the eradication of corruption. President Moon Jae-in, has consistently referred to the 'eradication of corruption' during his election, and has continued, even after the launch of the new administration. Through the anti-corruption plans, the administration plans to accomplish the goals of 'investigating government monopolization and retrieve Choi Soon-sil's ill-gotten assets', and 'break down the cultural blacklist and prevent recurrence'. There's been a positive response to the anti-corruption policy of the Moon administration,,, but can they achieve the 100 point national policy agenda as planned? This week, we give an in-depth discussion on the subject of the '100 point national policy agenda'.
