Seeking Solutions for North Korean Human Rights
Severe human rights violations are ongoing in North Korea,including forced labor,unlawful imprisonment and public executions,The international community has joined together to condemn these human rights abuses. The UN General Assembly which has been adopting resolutions on North Korean human rights since 2005,included referring these human rights violations to the International Criminal Court and punishment for those responsible in its 2014 resolution,which was renewed in the 2016 resolution. South Korea is also working to improve human rights in North Korea with a North Korean Human Rights Act. Let's take a look at the international issue of North Korean human rights.
