3 years since its last performance in Seoul, Cirque du Soleil, one of the world's best performance groups, has returned to the Korean capital with a new show – KOOZA.
Established in 1984, Cirque du Soleil has built an international reputation by combing acrobatics with theatre, live band music, sophisticated choreography and costume.
And KOOZA is the most exuberant of all Cirque du Soleil shows to this date. Its name derives from an ancient Indian word koza which means a box or treasure. In the show, a magical box appears to our good-hearted and ingenuous hero, Innocent; and out of the box comes a trickster who leads Innocent to the world of Kooza, full of magical and surprising experiences. Kooza is not just about acrobatic tricks – it combines amazing acrobatics with wonderful wit and fantastic theater. The INNERVIEW meets the Seoul Tour team of KOOZA to get a fascinating peak into just what it takes to put together this feast of thrill and wonder.
