Born in Quebec, Canada, Steve Barakatt is an all-round musician who works as a composer, pianist, producer and singer. Even since he started learning to play the piano at 4, he has worked tirelessly across various genres of music from classical to jazz for over three decades. In addition to his musical creations, Steve Barakatt has also been active in his contributions to the global community; his 2009 anthem for the UNICEF, "Lullaby," was phenomenially well-received.
In Korea, Steve Barakatt is particularly loved for his romantic music; so much so that a local survey ranked him as one of the most popular artists on Valentine's Day and White Day – a Korean custom of reciprocating Valentine's day treats on 14 March. This year, he has added to his longstanding relationship with Korea by releasing an anthem for Saemanguem, a reclaimed land on the west coast of the Korean peninsula - "One More Heart, One More Dream."
