Choi Jung-won, a celebrated musical actress in Korea

The second guest welcomed by Kang Ye-na, the new host of The INNERview, is none other than Choi Jung-won, who is indisputably one of the most celebrated musical actresses in Korea. Over the past 27 years, she is considered a "chameleon on stage" for having undergone endless transformations, and with her exceptional singing, dancing and acting skills, she has moved millions of people who have come to see her.

She is captivating the audiences once again with an original musical titled "Agatha," which centers on the 11-day disappearance of Agatha Christie, a best-selling mystery writer, in December 1926. During the interview at the main performance hall of the Hongik Daehangno Art Center, where "Agatha" is being staged, fellow cast member Kim Jae-bum paid a surprise visit and shared his thoughts about working with the legendary actress. The two cast members, who are showing fantastic chemistry on stage, displayed genuine admiration and affection for each other during the interview.

We also followed Choi Jung-won for a day to get a glimpse into her personal life behind the glitz and glam. We got to check out her secret exercise routine that helps her stay in shape to deliver flawless performances on stage and to meet her mother, who provided her with the support she needed in order to realize her dream of becoming a stage actress. She also invited us backstage to see what happens right before a show!
So, join us this week to meet Choi Jung-won, a prolific musical actress who will bring a smile to your face with her positive energy and inspire you with her life story.
