'Mamma Mia!' is a globally popular musical that has been watched by more than 54 million people in 400 cities across the world. The original London production has come to Korea in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Korean-language production. The heroine, 'Donna,' is played by Sara Poyzer, who has been receiving an explosive response from the Korean audience.
She began to pursue her dreams by entering an acting school at the age of 24. After graduation, she played the role of a club singer in 'Satin 'n' Steel,' which would become a turning point in her career. During one of the performances, she caught an agent's attention with her phenomenal singing skills and was given a chance to audition at the West End Production. She was cast as Billy Elliot's mother and later became one of the iconic actresses of West End.
