There is a deep and old forest beside a thousand years of observations. It's a temple forests. The temple forest is greener than any forest, It is well preserved.
It is a prayer place for the performancers to develop their minds. If you stand under a big tree that has been a thousand years old, I know if it's a little thing.
I become modest and quietly look back at me. Walking through the temple forest road is a meeting with nature. By following the principles of nature, life becomes simpler and richer. Thousand years deep and wide place, we now go to the forest of mind.
Dosol hermitage, one of the three major prayer hermitage in Korea.
In the late summer, red waves ripple along the roads leading to Dosolam.
It is a fláme lìly. A fláme lìly is called a flower of longing because the flower and the leaf can not meet. If a red longing in late summer, a beautiful red sandalwood descends from the sky in the fall. It is a specialty of the forest surrounding the Dosol hermitage, baby maple leaves. In a gentle breeze, I am captivated by its beautiful appearance. Everyone steps down in front of Dosol hermitage.
In Chunjin hermitage , the forest of the Torreya nucifera trees does not lose its green even in the middle of winter. It is said to have been planted in the Goryeo Dynasty 800 years ago. The dynasty, which seemed to be forever, disappeared in history, but the forest of Torreya nucifera trees has survived, and now it is still writing new history. In Chunjin hermitage, The Buddhist priestess Jung-gwan sets the table of the performer every day with the fragrance of the Torreya nucifera tree and the seasonal Korean soy sauce. Prepare a table of nature, eat modestly the monk called the performance, Torreya nucifera tree forest hugs all life with warmth.
In the Woljeong Temple forest, 700 fir trees are rising like a strong heart of the monks, poking through the sky. Woljeong temple Buddhist monks have been nurturing fir trees for many years with carefulness. If there were no temples, there would be no forest. The forest became part of the life of the performer. The monks are walking through the forest and concentrate on my mind. In the harsh cold weather, We walk through the snow-covered fir forest trail three times and once again pass through it repeatedly. For them, the fir forest route is a pilgrimage route that awakens the whole body.
