Their success draws attention not only in mainstream American society, but also in the Korean immigrant communities as well as Korean society. The reason for such attention is the fact that they are Koreans, that is, foreigners, in the land of America.
This translates into saying that there are many obstacles that Korean-Americans face and must overcome in order to be successful. What are the main criteria that second generation Korean-Americans consider when choosing their career paths?
