The preconceptions of the younger generation, who had not experienced their separation from their families in person, were carved as deeply as the years of the 70-year division. Overcoming cultural and psychological differences between the two Koreas has emerged as an important issue to be discussed in advance in order to be reborn as a true nation and life community.
Professor Lee Eun-Jeung (Free University of Berlin, Germany) stressed the importance of "exchange" in Germany's previous case of unification, and stressed the need to create a "field of communication" where the two Koreas can communicate with each other. After president Moon took office, various exchanges are being done in public and private level through fast-paced ‘peaceful exchanges’ policy. Peace on the Korean Peninsula will be the greatest force that will lead to common prosperity between the two Koreas, and the united Korean Peninsula will be reborn as an innovative inclusive nation capable of solving various problems as a middle power. The Korean Peninsula of peace and co-prosperity, which will continue and create a new century.
