A stage where the countries of ASEAN and Korea come together through culture: “Bravo! ASEAN in Korea"
“Bravo! ASEAN in Korea", held for the first time this year, is an event sponsored by an inter-governmental organization co-founded by 10 ASEAN countries and Korea, the ASEAN-Korea Centre, and is hosted by ArirangTV.
The contestants in the event are foreign students living in Korea, immigrants, foreign workers, naturalized Korean citizens, etc. who have been selected through the preliminary tryout of the contest. The purpose of this event is to gather and introduce each country's unique culture, and improve cultural understanding by participating actively with the motto of 'Asian as one'.
A dazzling modern dance that fills the stage with magnificence, a string duet of Yeochin and Dan Bau, the traditional musical instrument of Vietnam, the traditional dance of Laos performed every holiday, and many more talents from 11 countries compete in a total of 15 teams. Among the contestants are state scholarship students studying at the Korea National University of Arts(M. D. , Ph. D), making this event even more special. |
