Two countries flourish together in new age of cooperation
Jalal Talabani is the first Iraqi President to visit Korea since the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries in July 1989. We will hear from the President on the stable development of cooperative relations between the two countries in various fields. He will also share his thoughts on Korea's Zaytun Division, which participated in peace and recovery efforts in Iraq from 2004 to 2008. This visit will also serve as an opportunity to discuss energy development, expansion of Korea's corporate presence in Iraq, and the rehabilitation of business in Iraq.
