Translation carries the same amount of pain as creative writing. It's an arduous process of tearing down language barriers and laying bridges among people. Writers are in constant battle with words. And translators are in the same battle. These translators dream of more readers crossing the language barrier to feel the same feeling. As long as they help the world know more about Korea beyond time, history and the language, Korean literature will always keep its spot in the world.
