President Moon Jae-in will be holding a New Year's press conference with the Blue House press corps in the coming hours.
Because of the pandemic, though, only 120 reporters have been invited 20 will be on site while one-hundred others will join through a video link-up.
An online chatroom will enable other Blue House correspondents to ask questions in real time.
Attention will be on Moon's remarks regarding contentious issues, such as pardons for former presidents, soaring housing prices and his peace initiative with North Korea.
Arirang TV will be broadcasting the 100-minute press conference live with simultaneous interpretation from 10AM, Korea time.
