Bank of Korea expects world's Q4 GDP growth to slow down Updated: 2020-10-19 05:57:38 KST

South Korea's central bank expects COVID-19 to continue to impact most economies in the fourth quarter of this year.
In a weekly publication over the weekend, the Bank of Korea said global GDP will likely "slow down" in the last three months of 2020 as the pandemic takes a toll on service consumption, employment, trade and investment.
The report added that while product consumption might pick up in major economies, services are unlikely to recover significantly before scientists develop a vaccine.
